About

A few things to know about who you'd be talking with.

A bit about me

I became a therapist because of the people who made space for me. Moving between countries and languages over the years — shifting from one culture to another, learning to belong again — taught me to notice what people carry.

Today I bring that same attention to my work with clients: without rushing, without judgment, actually listening.

My training

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychological Science with a minor in Anthropology, followed by a graduate degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I'm an LMFT Associate in Texas, practicing under the supervision of Glen Hilton, LMFT-S, and hold membership in AAMFT and TAMFT.

How I think about therapy

Therapy is not a tool you take out and use. It's a relationship inside which something becomes possible. I work from a systemic, attachment-informed lens — trying to see not just the symptom, but the relationships and stories that shaped it.

A note on virtual therapy

My practice is primarily virtual, which lets me work with clients anywhere in Texas — whether that's because of a busy schedule, mobility considerations, or simply preferring the comfort of your own space. An office in Allen, Texas is also available for clients who'd prefer to meet in person.

Outside the work

Outside the work, I love long walks, reading with a cup of coffee nearby, and keeping up small rituals that stay connected to my Turkish heritage. Having lived between two cultures directly informs how I show up in the room.
